This American IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by a double dry-hopped addition of Limonadier and Bergamot hops. The initial impression is dominated by bright, zesty lemon and the distinctive, tea-like floral citrus of Bergamot. A clean, supporting malt backbone of pale grains allows the complex hop oils to remain the focus, leading into a crisp and refreshing finish. While leaning into the modern DDH aesthetic with a slight haze, the beer maintains the characteristic bitterness of its style, balanced by a light berry and stone fruit undertone that emerges as the glass warms.
Appearance. Medium gold color with a slight, dry-hop induced haze. Features a medium-sized white head with good persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Limonadier lemon zest and the sophisticated, perfumed citrus of Bergamot. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops, with very light fruity esters of melon.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with prominent citrus and floral Bergamot flavors. Medium-high bitterness is clean and sharp. Low, grainy-sweet malt character provides balance, leading to a dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a lively mouthfeel without harshness. Very low alcohol warmth.
