This vibrant Berliner Weisse offers a tropical reimagining of the classic German sour. The primary sensory driver is the intense, aromatic addition of Passion Fruit, which delivers a sharp, exotic tang that complements the beer’s inherent lactic acidity. While traditional versions are often lower in strength, this interpretation boasts a sturdier 5% ABV and 14 Plato starting gravity, providing a more substantial bready malt backbone from the wheat. Effervescent and bright, the profile balances punchy fruit esters with a clean, doughy softness, finishing bone-dry. Appearance. Straw to light golden with a distinct hazy glow from the fruit solids and wheat. Pours with a large, frothy white head that dissipates relatively quickly due to high acidity, leaving minimal lacing. Highly effervescent with visible carbonation.
