Pale Ale 4.7 º 27 IBU
Taifa Tostada is a balanced American Amber Ale defined by a deep caramel color and a rich toasted malt foundation. The sensory profile is led by an inviting aroma of forest fruits, characteristic of its artisanal fermentation, which blends seamlessly with a subtle pine resin hop character. On the palate, the toasted malts provide a savory sweetness that supports a moderate hop bitterness. This unfiltered ale retains a light yeast sediment, contributing to a smooth, medium-bodied mouthfeel. The finish is clean yet flavorful, leaving a lingering impression of caramelized sugars and mountain berries.
Appearance. Deep amber to coppery-brown with a persistent off-white head and good retention. Due to its unfiltered and bottle-matured nature, a slight yeast haze and fine sediment are present.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring distinct notes of forest fruits and dark berries. A toasted malt backbone provides caramel and bread crust scents, complemented by a light, resinous pine hop character.
Taste. Initial malty sweetness with prominent caramel and toasted bread flavors. The hop profile introduces a light piney resin that balances the moderate bitterness. Fruity esters reminiscent of berries are evident throughout, leading to a balanced, slightly dry finish where toasted grains linger.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift without being sharp. Very low alcohol warmth consistent with its sessionable strength.
