Suricato Maracujinha is a vibrant Gose that elevates the historical style with a bright tropical twist. The sensory experience is dominated by the sharp, aromatic intensity of passion fruit, which melds seamlessly with clean lactic tartness. A foundation of Pilsner and wheat malts provides a soft, doughy sweetness, while a restrained addition of sea salt creates a mouthwatering quality that enhances the fruit's natural zest. The effervescent carbonation and bone-dry finish make it exceptionally refreshing. Subtle notes of coriander offer a citrusy lift, complementing the fruit-forward profile without overshadowing the delicate, traditional balance of salt and acidity.
Appearance. Yellow (3 SRM) with a moderate to full haze. It features a tall, white head with tight bubbles and good retention, supported by high effervescence.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh passion fruit paired with a clean lactic sourness. Low bready and doughy malt notes form the base. No hop aroma is present, though a light citrusy coriander note and a faint mineral salt character are detectable.
Taste. Initial impression is sharply acidic and fruity with dominant passion fruit flavors. Moderate bready malt provides a brief counterpoint before a noticeable but restrained salt character emerges. Very low bitterness with no hop flavor. Finishes fully attenuated and dry, with the acidity providing a refreshing, crisp aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high carbonation that feels effervescent on the tongue. The salt provides a tingly, mouthwatering quality and a slightly rounder texture than the low ABV would suggest. No alcohol warmth.
