SUPERFREUNDE

This modern Double IPA delivers an intense burst of hop character, showcasing a double dry-hopped profile driven by CRYO HOPS TRI2304CR BLEND and IDAHO 7. On the nose, it erupts with bright tropical mango, ripe apricot, and sharp resinous pine, supported by a clean, neutral malt base. The palate follows suit with a wave of juicy citrus, sweet stone fruit, and a well-integrated, firm bitterness that avoids any harshness. Smooth and highly drinkable at seven percent alcohol by volume, it finishes dry and crisp with lingering hoppy aromatics, offering a superb balance of modern hop saturation.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper with a slight, yeast-and-hop-derived haze. Crowned by a moderate-sized, persistent, fluffy white head that leaves dense lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma showcasing prominent tropical fruit notes of mango, papaya, and apricot, layered with bright citrus zest and a resinous, piney undertone. Very low, neutral, clean maltiness supports the hops without competing. Fermentation profile is clean with negligible esters.

Taste. Strong, saturated hop flavors of sweet stone fruit, grapefruit, and resinous pine. Bitterness is moderately high but smooth and clean, lacking any harshness or grassy bite. The malt provides a soft, low, neutral backbone, leading to a dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, slightly soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, and there is a very gentle, integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the dry finish without being hot.
