This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey led by an intensive dry-hopping regime. Citra BBC and Simcoe Cryo deliver a bold wave of zesty grapefruit and resinous passionfruit, while BRU-1 and Nectaron contribute lush layers of ripe pineapple and succulent stone fruit. The appearance is characteristically opaque with a luminous golden glow. On the palate, the soft, bready malt provides a plush foundation for the tropical explosion, finishing with a gentle, restrained bitterness that emphasizes juicy drinkability. At 7.5% ABV, a subtle, well-integrated warmth supports the dense fruit character, making for a smooth and celebratory expression of modern hopping techniques.
Appearance. Color is pale gold (5 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that creates a luminous shine. It features a thick, persistent, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical and stone fruits; prominent notes of pineapple, passionfruit, and peach are supported by bright citrus zest. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as slightly doughy or crackery bread.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with mango and resinous citrus. Malt flavor is medium-low, offering a soft, bready sweetness. Bitterness is medium-low and smooth, leading to an off-dry, juicy finish with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate. There is a light, pleasant alcohol warmth consistent with the 7.5% strength, and a complete absence of hop harshness or astringency.
