SUPERFREUNDE

This modern interpretation of a German Pils offers a vibrant fusion of tradition and contemporary hop character. A lean, crackery foundation of Continental Pilsner malt supports an aromatic explosion driven by dry-hopping with Azacca, BRU-1, and Talus. The sensory profile is exceptionally bright, where classic herbal crispness is elevated by distinct layers of pineapple, ripe stone fruit, and pink grapefruit. While slightly more robust at 5.6% ABV than a traditional example, it remains refreshing with a firm, lingering bitterness and a bone-dry, snappy finish. It is a precision-engineered lager that balances high drinkability with sophisticated tropical complexity.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3-4 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple, mango, and citrus zest from the Azacca and BRU-1. Subtle resinous grapefruit and light floral hints from Talus sit atop a low grainy-sweet, crackery malt base. Clean fermentation profile with no yeast esters.

Taste. Initial flavors of bready, doughy malt are quickly overtaken by a wave of tropical fruit, specifically pineapple and stone fruit. Medium-high hop bitterness is firm and clean, cutting through the malt to a very dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste lingers with a refreshing citrus peel and herbal character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation that provides a crisp, refreshing bite. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Smooth texture with no astringency and a flinty, clean finish.
