This decadent American Stout delivers a rich, sensory-heavy experience defined by the marriage of Teton Cocoa Powder and creamy peanut butter. The foundation is built upon a complex malt bill where Midnight Wheat and Chocolate Rye impart deep layers of dark chocolate, earthy spice, and roasted coffee. Extra Dark Crystal malt adds a subtle dark fruit undertone, while flaked oats provide a silky, luxurious texture. Despite its strength, the beer maintains balance through firm bitterness and a whisper of resinous hops, finishing with a lingering, savory nuttiness and a smooth, warming alcohol presence that enhances its complexity.

Appearance. SRM 40; jet black and opaque. It supports a large, dense, persistent head ranging from tan to light brown with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity featuring dominant notes of dark chocolate and nutty peanut butter. A moderate to strong roast character provides coffee and bittersweet cocoa qualities, supported by a light earthy spice from the Chocolate Rye. Low resiny hop aroma and very low dark fruit esters.

Taste. Initial impression is rich and chocolate-forward, followed by prominent savory peanut butter flavors. Moderate malt sweetness displays caramel and dark fruit notes from the Extra Dark Crystal, transitioning into a high roasted-grain bitterness. Finish is medium-dry with a lingering quality of burnt coffee and cocoa; hop flavor is low and resiny, providing a clean counterpoint to the malt weight.
