This amber Vienna Lager offers a unique Colombian twist, integrating regional panela to enhance its malt profile. The beer presents a rich, toasty foundation with an atypical but pleasant caramel note and subtle fruitiness derived from the unrefined cane sugar. While hop presence is nearly absent, the balance is maintained through a soft, bready malt complexity and a smooth, slightly dry finish. Pouring with a creamy white head, it balances the clean, elegant character of a traditional lager with the soulful, rustic sweetness of panela. It remains remarkably drinkable, offering a medium-bodied texture that highlights a harmonious blend of old-world technique and local ingredients.

Appearance. Amber to copper color (approximately 12 SRM) with bright clarity. Topped with a large, creamy white head that demonstrates good persistence and lacing.

Aroma. Moderately intense aroma featuring toasty, malty-rich accents. Distinctive notes of caramel and light fruitiness are present from the panela addition. Hop aroma is nearly absent, and the fermentation profile is clean with no sulfur or diacetyl.

Taste. The initial impression is one of soft malt complexity, leading into a rich, toasty, and bready malt flavor. Atypical but well-integrated caramel notes from the panela provide depth. Hop bitterness is low to moderate, providing just enough balance against the malt. The finish is slightly dry with a clean fermentation character and a lingering toasty aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, gentle creaminess. Carbonation is moderate, and there is a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its 5% strength. No astringency is present.
