Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a deep golden to pale copper hue (6-9 SRM). A thick, resilient white head leaves intricate lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High intensity aroma defined by pungent resin, fresh pine needles, and bright citrus zest. Subtle notes of crushed dank herbs and floral blossoms are supported by a very low, clean bready malt character.
Taste. Aggressive initial bitterness that carries through the sip. Flavors of grapefruit pith and resinous timber lead, backed by a lean, toasted cracker malt backbone. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, culminating in a bone-dry, crisp finish with a long-lasting, resinous aftertaste.
