Structures Brewing Loam Temple

Loam Temple is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop interplay between Mosaic and Simcoe. It opens with an explosion of tropical passion fruit and juicy blueberry, quickly followed by nuanced layers of citrus zest and a signature whisper of resinous pine. The appearance is a luminous, pale gold with a consistent, opaque haze. On the palate, the soft, pillowy body carries flavors of stone fruit and crushed pineapple, supported by a clean, bready malt backbone. The finish is remarkably smooth with a restrained bitterness, leaving a lingering impression of fresh tropical fruit and forest-like aromatics that define this modern Hazy IPA.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale straw to light gold (approx 4-6 SRM) with a dense, meringue-like white head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves thick rings of lacing. The beer is opaque with a healthy shine but free of any yeast or hop particulates.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with Mosaic-driven notes of ripe blueberry, mango, and papaya, blended seamlessly with Simcoe’s contribution of bright grapefruit and earthy pine resin. The malt presence is low and clean, offering hints of fresh bread and dough. Fermentation is clean with subtle fruity esters that enhance the tropical hop profile.
Taste. The flavor is dominated by an intense wave of tropical and stone fruit, specifically peach and passion fruit. A grainy, bready malt sweetness provides a balanced foundation without becoming heavy. The bitterness is low to medium, feeling soft rather than sharp, which allows the juicy hop character to persist into a smooth, off-dry finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, rounded texture that avoids being overly creamy or cloying. Carbonation is moderate, providing enough lift to maintain drinkability. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.8% ABV, with no detectable astringency.
