This Hazy IPA presents a luminous, opaque straw-gold appearance with a dense, persistent white head. The sensory experience is defined by the showcase of South African hop UI/108, which delivers an intense aromatic profile of passionfruit, ripe guava, and a subtle blackcurrant edge. On the palate, the beer is exceptionally soft and pillowy, featuring a bready malt foundation that supports vibrant citrus and tropical fruit layers. A restrained, smooth bitterness allows the complex berry and stone fruit notes to lead into a clean, off-dry finish that emphasizes juice-like qualities over resinous hop bite.
Appearance. Straw to light orange with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a radiant shine; features a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical passionfruit, guava, and sweet citrus zest from the UI/108 hops. A neutral, bready malt character sits in the background, complemented by light fruity fermentation esters of peach and apricot.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors echoing the aroma with dominant guava and tropical berry notes. Low bready malt flavor provides a soft base for the moderate bitterness, which is well-integrated and never harsh. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
