This Double IPA presents a vivid sensory tapestry, defined by an explosive aromatic burst of sun-ripened apricots and fresh pineapple. The intricate hop profile, featuring Strata, Nelson, Galaxy, Citra, Sabro, and Luminosa, delivers a multifaceted tropical experience ranging from white grape and passionfruit to subtle coconut and peach. Despite its formidable strength, the high alcohol is masterfully integrated within a lush, creamy texture, creating a deceptively drinkable character. Appearance. SRM 6-9 (Golden to light orange). Opaque with a heavy haze. Thick, creamy, persistent white head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of apricot, pineapple, and passionfruit. Secondary layers of gooseberry, strawberry, and a hint of coconut. Malt is very low and neutral. Fermentation is clean with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Leading with a punch of tropical fruit, specifically pineapple and stone fruit. Moderate to high hop bitterness that remains smooth and rounded. Low, bready, supportive malt flavor without caramel sweetness. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering citrus and berry hop aftertaste. Smooth, clean alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated and smooth. Low astringency.
