 Stonewell vertrekt vanuit een klassieke gefermenteerd cider gemaakt met typische bitterzoete appels. Eenmaal gefermenteerd gebruikten ze vervolgens een proces van osmose, of om precies te zijn omgekeerde osmose, om de alcohol uit de cider te halen. Dit laat veel van de kenmerken over die door het fermentatieproces worden gecreëerd, maar met de toegevoegde bonus dat er geen alcohol is. In deze fase van het proces is de cider nog steeds "droog", met andere woorden, bevat geen zoetheid, dus om deze blend af te maken voegden ze een kleine hoeveelheid appelsap toe, wat het mondgevoel vergroot en een heerlijk vers fruitaroma geeft.

Stonewell 0%, gemaakt en gemengd door Stonewell Cider in Cork (Ierland) , is een verfrissend alternatief voor iedereen die de veel te zoete mocktails of sappen wil vermijden.

The cider was fermented using typical bittersweet apples. Once fermented they then used a process of osmosis, or to be precise reverse osmosis to extract the alcohol from the cider. This leaves a lot of the characteristics created by the fermentation process but with the added bonus that there’s no alcohol. At this stage of the process the cider is still “dry” in other words contains no sweetness, so to finish off this blend a small amount of apple juice is added which broadens the mouthfeel and brings a delightful fresh fruit aroma.
