This American IPA delivers a bold sensory experience defined by its complex layering of Cascade hops. Aggressive aromas of grapefruit zest and dried flowers emerge from extensive hopping techniques, including a dedicated hop-back and dry-hop addition. The foundation features a substantial malt bill where Pilsner and CaraAroma malts provide a sturdy caramel sweetness to counter the firm bitterness. A unique inclusion of Rye contributes a subtle peppery spice to the mid-palate. It balances a resinous hop punch with a lingering toffee-like backbone, creating a vibrant, structured profile that finishes with a refreshing, hop-forward snap.

Appearance. Deep gold to copper-amber (approx. 10–13 SRM). Generous, off-white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing. Generally clear, though a very faint hop haze may be present.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by bright citrus, lemon zest, and floral notes. Supporting the hops is a moderate malt presence characterized by toasted bread, light caramel, and a distinctive spicy grain note. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression of sharp, clean bitterness leading into intense flavors of citrus rind and pine. A rich malt core of caramel and toasted biscuit provides a counterpoint to the high bitterness. The rye adds a peppery complexity. Finishes medium-dry with a long-lasting, resinous bitterness and a touch of specialty malt toffee.
