Stigbergets Bryggeri

This New England-style Hazy IPA radiates with a vibrant tropical intensity. A luxurious grain bill featuring Simpsons Golden Promise, Golden Naked Oats, Torrified Wheat, and Crisp Torrified Flaked Oats lays down a pillowy, bready foundation. Over this soft canvas, a massive hop blend of Citra, Simcoe, Sabro, Bru-1, and Galaxy explodes with juicy aromas of ripe mango, sweet pineapple, bright citrus, and a whisper of coconut. It drinks incredibly smooth, balancing dense fruit flavors with a soft, low bitterness, culminating in a highly refreshing, velvety, and clean finish.

Appearance. Pale gold to orange-hued yellow (4-5 SRM), hazy to nearly opaque with a luminous glow. Crowned by a thick, rocky, white meringue-like head with excellent retention and dense, draping lacing.

Aroma. High intensity, dominated by a massive wave of tropical and stone fruits—notably ripe mango, pineapple, and passion fruit—complemented by bright citrus zest and a subtle, sweet coconut note. The malt profile is low, clean, and bready, while the fermentation profile is cleanly estery, perfectly supporting the hop-forward character.

Taste. An initial juicy explosion of tropical fruit salad, sweet citrus, and soft peach flavors. The malt presents a low but sturdy, doughy, oat-like sweetness. Bitterness is low to medium-low, beautifully integrated and never harsh. Fermentation character is clean and supportive, leading to an off-dry, smooth, and fruit-rich finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft, and velvety texture from the flaked grains. Carbonation is medium. Extremely low warmth with no alcohol harshness or hop-derived astringency.
