Stigbergets Bryggeri Moon Tower is a brilliant West Coast-style American Pale Ale that showcases a classic, generous addition of traditional C-Hops. The overall sensory character delivers vibrant notes of fresh grapefruit, orange peel, and dank pine resin, backed by a clean, neutral malt backbone. Its bright hop-forward profile pays homage to classic American pale ales, balancing a medium-dry finish with a clean, assertive bitterness. The aroma is highly expressive of citrus and forest-like pine, while the taste follows suit, leaving a crisp, lingering hop bitterness on the palate. Highly drinkable and beautifully balanced, it represents the epitome of a classic West Coast session-able pale ale.

Appearance. Pale golden in color with excellent clarity. Pours with a moderately large, thick, off-white head that exhibits good retention and leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderately high aroma of classic American C-hops, dominant in fresh grapefruit, pine needles, resin, and light floral notes. Supported by a low, clean, neutral to slightly bready malt character with virtually no sweet caramel. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression of crisp, clean bitterness. Distinct hop flavors of grapefruit pith, orange zest, and pine resin lead the profile, backed by a low, supportive, cracker-like malt flavor. Bitterness is moderate to firm, perfectly balancing the beer. Finishes medium-dry with a clean, lingering hop bitterness and resinous aftertaste, without being harsh.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation, creating a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Smooth finish with a light, clean dryness and zero astringency. No warmth, showing a highly integrated 5.5% ABV.
