This New England Double IPA presents a saturated sensory profile driven by a quartet of modern hops. Citra and Mosaic lead with a punch of tropical mango and zesty grapefruit, while Idaho 7 contributes deep stone fruit and subtle pine. Distinctive notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry from the Nelson Sauvin add a refined complexity. Despite its 8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a soft, creamy texture characteristic of the style. The malt remains a quiet, bready foundation, allowing the intense hop oils to dominate from the first aromatic whiff to the lingering, fruit-forward finish.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (6-8 SRM). Features a large, persistent, creamy white head with significant lacing. Hazy to opaque, typical of the New England variation.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma with dominant notes of tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), citrus (grapefruit), and stone fruit. Nelson Sauvin provides a unique white grape and gooseberry layer. Supportive malt is low and neutral-grainy. Fermentation is clean with light fruity esters and no solventy alcohol.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of hop juice. Strong tropical, citrus, and berry hop flavors dominate. Malt character is low, soft, and bready, providing a neutral platform. Bitterness is moderately high but remains smooth and integrated rather than harsh. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, complex fruity aftertaste and smooth alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Contains a noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth. Free of hop-derived astringency.
