Staggeringly Good

This Double IPA presents a lush, sensory-forward profile defined by its "squashy," pillowy texture and an explosive "fruit salad" of hop character. Utilizing an impactful trio of Vic Secret, Bru-1, and Galaxy hops, the beer radiates intense aromas of fresh pineapple, passion fruit, and sweet melon, balanced by a delicate hint of resinous pine. The soft, doughy malt backbone carries the 8% ABV with ease, leading to a smooth, juicy palate. Unlike traditional West Coast examples, it favors a remarkably low bitterness that only emerges gently on the clean, fruit-filled finish. The result is a highly approachable, modern take on the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM); hazy with a large, persistent white head and dense, sticky lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pineapple, passion fruit, and melon; light resinous pine in the background; very low neutral, grainy malt presence; clean fermentation profile.

Taste. High hop flavor echoing the tropical fruit salad aroma; pineapple and melon dominate; notably low bitterness for the style that lingers only slightly on the finish; soft, supportive bready malt; juicy, medium-dry finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body; moderate carbonation; smooth, creamy texture with very mild alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
