This Sweet Stout presents a luscious, dessert-forward profile anchored by a sophisticated infusion of Brazilian and Costa Rican coffee. The nose is greeted by a decadent interplay of freshly roasted beans and rich milk chocolate, softened by a gentle veil of Madagascan Vanilla. On the palate, the creamy influence of milk sugar (lactose) rounds out the roast, transforming the coffee character into a velvet-smooth experience reminiscent of sweetened espresso or a mocha latte. Nutty undertones emerge in the mid-palate, while the finish remains plush and sweet, balancing mild roasted bitterness with a lingering vanilla-cream softness.

Appearance. Very dark brown to near-opaque black (35–40 SRM). Crowns with a thick, creamy tan head that shows excellent retention and leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of freshly ground coffee with distinct nutty and chocolate-like nuances. Beneath the coffee, a rich Madagascan Vanilla sweetness blends with mild roasted grain and a distinct cream-like lactose character. Hop aroma is absent; fermentation is clean with negligible esters.

Taste. Initial impression is creamy and sweet, dominated by milk chocolate and the nutty, earthy depth of Broadway Coffee Roasters' beans. The milk sugar provides a significant counterpoint to the moderate roasted bitterness, creating a rounded, sweetened espresso flavor. Vanilla notes persist through the mid-palate into a long, sweet, and smooth finish that lacks any acrid or burnt grain harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full-bodied with a silky, velvety texture provided by the unfermented lactose. Carbonation is moderate to low, emphasizing the beer's creaminess. Alcohol warmth is very low, making for a smooth, approachable mouthfeel without astringency.
