This decadent Gose pours a deep, opaque burgundy, releasing an intense bouquet of jammy Blackberry and Raspberry entwined with crisp Apple and a surprisingly prominent Peanut aroma. The palate is a monolithic collision of tart dark fruits and creamy Toffee, bolstered by the addition of lactose for a dessert-like weight. At 8.5% ABV, a gentle alcohol warmth carries the rich, nutty flavors through to a finish where a subtle, mouthwatering sea salt character provides a necessary counterpoint to the sweetness. It is a viscous, multi-layered experience that pushes the boundaries of the style while retaining its core refreshment.

Appearance. Deep purple to burgundy (25+ SRM); opaque and thick with heavy fruit sediment; develops a dense, persistent pinkish-tan head with moderate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of dark berry preserves and tart apple skins; secondary notes of nutty peanut butter and caramel-like toffee; very low lactic sourness and a faint mineral saltiness.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tart blackberry and raspberry; mid-palate brings heavy sweetness from toffee and creamy lactose; apple provides a bright acidity that balances the richness; finishes with a lingering nutty character and a distinct, mouthwatering sea salt tang; no hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous; creamy and coating due to lactose; moderate alcohol warmth; low to moderate carbonation; salt provides a tingly, mouthwatering sensation that cuts through the fruit density.
