Staggeringly Good

This German Pils captures the essence of a truly refreshing classic with its bright, crisp character and remarkably drying finish. It pours with a brilliant straw-colored hue, presenting an elegant perfume of spicy and floral traditional German hops that lead the aromatic charge. Beneath the hops, a lean backdrop of grainy Continental Pilsner malt provides notes of toasted crackers and light honey. The palate is defined by a clean fermentation profile where initial soft malt notes are quickly overtaken by a firm, lingering bitterness. Its high attenuation ensures a snappy mouthfeel, making this a quintessential thirst-quenching lager that remains faithful to its traditional roots.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (approx. 3 SRM); brilliant clarity; creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderately-high intensity featuring floral and spicy hop character; low grainy-sweet malt with notes of dough and toasted cracker; clean fermentation profile without esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial low grainy malt sweetness is rapidly overcome by prominent hop bitterness; flavors of herbal hops and crisp cracker malt; finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation; provides a refreshing, snappy sensation with a light minerally sharpness; no perceivable alcohol warmth.
