This Imperial Stout is an exercise in dark opulence, delivering a profound sensory experience that balances raw power with elegant additions. Madagascan Vanilla lends a creamy, floral sweetness that softens the edges of its high alcohol content, while Cacao Nibs provide a deep, earthy, bittersweet chocolate foundation. Beneath these specialty layers, a robust malt bill provides intense notes of espresso and dark fruit. The 12% alcohol manifests as a smooth, well-integrated warmth, supporting a chewy, velvety body. It is a complex, harmonious ale where the roast intensity and decadent adjuncts create a lingering, luxurious finish.

Appearance. SRM 40; jet black and completely opaque. It supports a thick, deep tan head with moderate retention. Due to the high viscosity and alcohol, noticeable legs are visible on the glass when swirled.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. The Madagascan Vanilla provides a prominent sweet, floral top note, while Cacao Nibs contribute an earthy cocoa depth. Subtle dark fruit esters of prune and raisin are present, alongside a clean, smooth alcohol warmth.
