Appearance. Deep copper to dark reddish-brown (SRM 15–22); clear but appearing nearly opaque in the glass. It supports a moderate, creamy, light tan head with average retention.

Aroma. High intensity with a malty-sweet core featuring prominent toffee, caramel, and molasses. Distinctive dried fruit esters—raisin and plum—mingle with subtle woody notes from American oak and a faint, pleasant vinous oxidation reminiscent of Sherry.
