St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout is a classic Oatmeal Stout that pours an opaque, midnight black, crowned by a dense and persistent mocha-colored head. The sensory profile is dominated by intense aromas of espresso and dark chocolate, stemming from a heavy 40 percent grist of dark malts and roasted barley. The addition of oatmeal provides a luxurious, velvety silkiness that carries flavors of bittersweet cocoa and toasted nuts across the palate. While initially medium-sweet, the beer is expertly balanced by a firm hop bitterness and distinct floral hop notes, leading into a surprisingly clean and dry finish that enhances its overall drinkability.
Appearance. Opaque black (SRM 35-40). Features a thick, creamy, and long-lasting mocha-colored head with exceptional lacing.
