This Ordinary Bitter presents a modern sessionable profile built on a crisp foundation of Pilsner, Vienna, and Wheat malts. While maintaining the style's signature drinkability, it features a vibrant hop bouquet of Mandarina, Ariana, Cascade, and Calista. These varieties introduce bright notes of citrus and stone fruit that complement the traditional low-gravity structure. The malt provides a soft, bready backdrop for a decidedly bitter balance, typical of the style but refreshed by contemporary hop choices. It finishes dry and clean, inviting another sip while showcasing a delicate interplay between light European malts and aromatic, fruity hops.

Appearance. Pale amber to light copper (approx. 9-11 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a low to moderate off-white head with fair retention, typical of the low carbonation inherent to the style.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a bready and slightly grainy malt character from the Pilsner and Vienna base. Hop aroma is moderate, leaning into citrus, floral, and light berry notes from the Mandarina, Ariana, and Calista additions. Low fruity esters are present, blending with a touch of resinous earthiness. No diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is of a clean, bready maltiness followed by a medium to moderately high bitterness. Hop flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, and floral spice are present but controlled. The finish is dry with a lingering, refreshing bitterness. Low grainy sweetness from the Wheat malt may be present, but the balance remains firmly bitter. No diacetyl.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture enhanced by the Wheat malt. Carbonation is low to moderate. At 4.3% ABV, there is no perceptible alcohol warmth, contributing to its high sessionability.
