This massive Imperial Stout envelops the senses with a decadent tapestry of dark chocolate and spiced complexity, born from its slumber in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. Intensely aromatic cacao nibs and sweet vanilla beans dominate the nose, seamlessly melting into the rustic warmth of freshly grated cinnamon. On the palate, a velvety wave of espresso and charred oak carries a slow-building, prickling heat from the habanero chili, which slices through the rich, dessert-like sweetness without overpowering. It is a masterful, multi-layered liquid dessert, offering a harmonious balance of roasted malt bitterness, sweet spirituous warmth, and a lingering, gently spiced finish.

Appearance. Opaque, jet-black pour (SRM 40+) topped with a dense, persistent dark brown head that exhibits exceptional retention and leaves thick, sticky lacing. High viscosity is immediately apparent, coating the glass with prominent legs.

Aroma. High intensity. Rich aromas of roasted cacao nibs, dark chocolate, and sweet vanilla beans take center stage, followed by prominent bourbon whiskey, toasted oak, and coconut notes from the barrel aging. Warm, sweet cinnamon spice integrates seamlessly with a subtle, fruity chili pepper note, all resting on a deep background of roasted coffee and dark, dried plum esters.

Taste. An intense and complex flavor profile opening with rich milk chocolate, espresso, and caramelized malt sweetness, quickly balanced by a firm roasted bitterness.
