This Straight Sour Beer serves as a vibrant sensory bridge between a tart ale and Scandinavian winter traditions, inspired by mulled wine. The palate is defined by a bright, clean lactic sourness that provides a sharp backbone for rich additions of tart cherry and earthy blackcurrant. The aromatic profile is heavily influenced by a warming spice blend, featuring fragrant cardamom, sharp clove, and woody cinnamon. These traditional glögg spices provide a distinctive complexity against the crisp, pale malt base. Despite the moderate alcohol content, the combination of dark fruit and spices creates an impression of depth, finishing bone-dry with a lingering spicy, berry-inflected tartness.
