Soma Node is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a lush, tropical bouquet driven by a heavy-handed addition of Citra, Idaho 7, and Azacca hops. The 7% ABV is masterfully integrated, providing a gentle structural warmth that carries intense notes of ripe mango, crushed pineapple, and bright tangerine. The Citra provides a sharp citrus backbone, while Idaho 7 contributes nuanced stone fruit and a whisper of resinous pine. Azacca rounds out the profile with an explosion of exotic tropical fruit. Expect a pillowy, soft mouthfeel and a restrained bitterness that ensures a smooth, juice-like finish, epitomizing the modern New England style.

Appearance. Deep straw to pale orange with a dense, opaque haziness that creates a luminous shine. It is topped by a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant notes of mango, pineapple, and apricot from the Azacca and Idaho 7. Citra adds a clear grapefruit and lime zest layer. The malt is subtle, presenting as soft bready or grainy notes, while the fermentation is clean with light peachy esters.

Taste. The palate follows the aroma with an explosion of tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Mid-palate reveals a soft, wheaty malt character. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the velvety body. It finishes off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruit-skin hop character that avoids any harshness or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, without any hop burn or harshness.
