This Double IPA showcases a modern hop profile led by Pacific Sunrise and Citra, delivering an intense sensory experience. The aroma is dominated by ripe clementine, Meyer lemon, and crushed tropical fruits, underpinned by a subtle resinous pine. On the palate, the Citra hops provide a sharp citrus bite, while Pacific Sunrise adds layers of juicy melon and stone fruit. A lean malt backbone of clean, grainy sweetness allows the hops to shine, leading into a firm, lingering bitterness. The finish is remarkably dry for its 8% strength, offering a well-integrated alcohol warmth and a clean, refreshing aftertaste.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (approx. 7-8 SRM) with a slight modern haze. Displays a moderate-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of grapefruit, lime, and orange peel from the Citra additions, complemented by tropical melon and stone fruit from the Pacific Sunrise. Background malt is neutral and grainy with a very low floral ester profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus and tropical fruit. Strong hop flavors of orange zest and mango are supported by a low, clean malt character. Moderately high bitterness is firm but smooth, lacking harshness. The finish is dry with a lingering hop resin and citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high. Provides a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth appropriate for the strength, with no hop-derived astringency.
