This Double IPA presents an explosive sensory profile driven by a potent blend of Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, and Ekuanot Cryo hops. The initial aromatic impact is dominated by a fusion of ripe mango, passion fruit, and bright lime zest, underpinned by Simcoe’s signature resinous pine. On the palate, Mosaic contributes layers of blueberry and stone fruit, while Citra delivers a sharp citrus punch. Despite the high bitterness and concentrated hop oils from the Ekuanot Cryo, the beer remains remarkably drinkable with a lean, clean malt backbone. A dry, lingering finish ensures the tropical and coniferous notes persist long after the last sip.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (SRM 7-9). Bright clarity with a thick, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Intensely tropical and citrusy with prominent notes of mango, grapefruit, and papaya. A distinct resinous pine character provides depth, while a very low, clean, crackery malt note supports the hop profile.

Taste. Initial punch of citrus peel and tropical fruit followed by a firm, clean bitterness. Hop flavors of blueberry, lime, and pine are showcased through the mid-palate. The malt is soft and unobtrusive, allowing for a medium-dry, crisp finish with a long, hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Moderate to high carbonation. A well-integrated, gentle alcohol warmth is present, without any harshness or astringency.
