SOMA Beer Zest is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies a modern, juice-forward profile. At 6% ABV, it presents a dense, opaque straw-colored body topped with a persistent white head. The sensory experience is driven by a potent combination of Peacharine and Riwaka hops. Expect an initial burst of ripe nectarine and white peach on the nose, quickly followed by the signature passionfruit and zesty citrus notes characteristic of Riwaka. On the palate, the mouthfeel is exceptionally soft and pillowy, carrying layers of tropical fruit over a lean, bready malt base. It finishes with a delicate, integrated bitterness and a clean, fruit-filled aftertaste.

Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM). Opaque, hazy clarity with a luminescent shine. Thick, rocky, white head with excellent retention and meringue-like lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Dominant notes of sweet peach, nectarine, and tropical passionfruit. Secondary hints of pink grapefruit and zesty lime. Background malt is neutral, lightly bready and grainy. No caramel or toast. Clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Explosive stone fruit and tropical flavors mirror the aroma. Initial nectarine and peach sweetness transitions into passionfruit and citrus zest. Low to moderate perceived bitterness provides balance without any hop bite or harshness. Malt provides a soft, bready foundation. Finish is off-dry and smooth with a clean, lingering fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. No alcohol warmth or astringency. Smooth and creamy without being viscous.
