This Double IPA delivers a vibrant hop-forward profile led by the trio of Nelson, Mosaic, and Simcoe. Nelson provides distinctive notes of white wine grapes and gooseberry, while Mosaic contributes layers of tropical mango and mixed berries. Simcoe anchors the sensory experience with a crisp, resinous pine depth. At 8% ABV, the beer maintains high drinkability with a lean malt profile that allows the hops to remain the focus. The result is a bright, aromatic punch followed by a clean, firm bitterness that finishes dry, expertly masking its strength through intense fruit and resin characteristics.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8-10 SRM) with a persistent, dense white head that leaves significant lacing. Clarity is generally good, though a very slight, modern hop-derived haze may be present.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent white wine, passion fruit, and gooseberry from Nelson hops. Secondary layers of blueberry and tropical citrus from Mosaic are supported by a clean, resinous pine note from Simcoe. Malt is neutral, grainy, and strictly supportive.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of crushed grapes, tropical fruit, and citrus zest are balanced by a firm, moderately high bitterness. A light, clean, crackery malt character provides the backbone without adding significant sweetness. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, clean hoppy aftertaste and a touch of resinous pine.
