This collaborative Double IPA delivers an intense, saturated hop experience driven by a massive dry-hop addition of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe, further amplified by Cryo Mosaic and Cryo Ekuanot. The sensory profile is dominated by explosive layers of overripe tropical fruit, zesty lime, and a persistent resinous pine backbone. While the appearance is characteristically hazy, the focus remains on the interplay between sweet melon notes and a clean, supportive malt base. A soft, velvety texture leads into a smooth finish, where a firm but integrated bitterness balances the strength, ensuring high drinkability despite its 8% ABV and complex hop saturation.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM) with a pronounced, opaque haze. Features a large, persistent, creamy white head that leaves dense, sticky lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of mango, passion fruit, and citrus from the Citra and Mosaic. Cryo Ekuanot contributes distinct lime and subtle herbal spice, while Simcoe provides a sharp, clean pine and resinous depth. Very low bready malt in the background.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, and berry. The bitterness is firm and moderately high but lacks harshness, balanced by a soft, grainy malt character. Finish is medium-dry with a lingering resinous and tropical fruit aftertaste. Clean fermentation with a well-integrated, smooth alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Displays a restrained, pleasant alcohol warmth without being hot or solventy. No hop-derived astringency.
