This Hazy IPA presents a striking hazy golden hue, inviting a deep dive into its tropical complexity. The sensory journey is led by a double dry-hopped charge of Galaxy, which imparts signature notes of ripe peach and passion fruit. These are complemented by Citra and El Dorado additions from the whirlpool, layering in bright citrus and sweet stone fruit aromas. On the palate, the experience is soft and approachable, with a medium body that carries the hop-saturated flavors through to a clean, fruity finish. It balances a gentle malt backbone of grainy sweetness with a restrained bitterness, ensuring a highly drinkable, juice-like character.
Appearance. Golden (SRM 5-6), hazy and opaque with a luminous shine. Thick, rocky white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant tropical notes of passion fruit and peach mixed with tangerine and lemon zest. Hints of watermelon and pear are supported by a neutral, lightly bready malt base. Clean fermentation with no hop harshness or grassiness.
Taste. Immediate burst of tropical fruit and citrus. Ripe peach and mixed citrus flavors linger prominently in the aftertaste. Malt flavor is low, suggesting clean grain. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate, providing structure to balance the soft, fruit-forward profile. Finish is off-dry and smooth.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. No astringency, harshness, or hop burn.
