Day Glow presents a modern "No coast" interpretation of the American IPA, balancing the crisp, clean structure of traditional styles with a contemporary approach to bitterness. The sensory experience is dominated by the expressive use of Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops, delivering a punchy bouquet of white wine grapes, gooseberry, and crushed tropical fruits. Hints of blueberry and resinous pine from the Mosaic play against a lean, grainy malt base. Despite the 7.1% ABV, the palate remains refreshing with a restrained bitterness that highlights the juicy, aromatic hop oils. It finishes dry and bright, showcasing a sophisticated fusion of New World hop intensity and high drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold color (7 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a tall, white, persistent head that leaves fine lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white wine grapes, gooseberries, and passionfruit from the Nelson Sauvin, complemented by Mosaic's signature blueberry and citrus zest. Low, clean, bready malt sweetness provides a neutral background. Fermentation is clean with a very faint ester profile of melon.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and crushed white grapes. Mosaic provides flavors of mango and pine, while Nelson Sauvin offers a distinctive vinous character. Malt flavor is low and grainy, acting as a clean canvas. Hop bitterness is medium-high but smooth and less aggressive than traditional West Coast examples. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering citrus and gooseberry aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. There is a very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the dry finish without being harsh or astringent.
