The sensory profile is dominated by profound notes of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee, seamlessly integrated with the unique influence of the wood. This Bulgarian oak aging contributes a strong, creamy vanilla presence alongside distinctive hints of forest berries. At 13% ABV, the beer is remarkably viscous and complex, balancing intense roasted malt bitterness with a lingering, bittersweet fruitiness. It offers a velvety, thick mouthfeel that carries the warmth of the alcohol and the intricate nuances of the barrel into a long, luxurious finish.
Appearance. Jet black and opaque with visible viscosity. A thick, dark tan head forms with moderate retention, leaving oily legs on the glass as the beer recedes.
