Cuddlebug is an expressive Wild Specialty Beer that showcases a vibrant fusion of stone fruit and lactic acidity. Built upon a base of a delicate sour blonde ale, the addition of fresh peach and apricot provides a luscious, sun-ripened aromatic profile. The wild fermentation imparts a refined funk and a crisp, tart edge that slices through the stone fruit sweetness. Expect a bright, refreshing character where the stone fruits harmonize with the lemony acidity of the base beer. It finishes remarkably dry, inviting another sip, while maintaining a sophisticated balance between fruity esters and rustic fermentation complexity.

Appearance. Luminous pale gold to light orange (3–6 SRM) with a slight, natural haze from the fruit addition. Pours with a thin, fizzy white head that dissipates quickly, leaving minimal lacing.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of fuzzy peach skin and succulent apricot preserves are backed by a sharp lactic tartness, notes of lemon zest, and a subtle funky wild character reminiscent of wet hay. Malt is a low crackery note; hop aroma is absent.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tart stone fruit, primarily apricot, followed by a clean, bracing acidity. Malt is minimal, offering a hint of raw grain. The sweetness of the fruit is almost entirely fermented out, leaving behind pure fruit essence. Bitterness is extremely low, with the sourness providing the primary balance. The finish is bone-dry and acidic with a lingering, tangy peach aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Light-bodied and effervescent with high carbonation that creates a prickly, refreshing sensation. No alcohol warmth is present. A very slight tannin from the fruit skins adds a touch of drying astringency to the finish.
