This vibrant Session IPA balances accessibility with a complex hop punch. The aroma is defined by a quartet of classic hops: Simcoe, Amarillo, Centennial, and Columbus, delivering a fragrant blend of resinous pine, bright citrus zest, and floral undertones. Despite its approachable strength, it offers a surprisingly deep sensory experience with a lean, grainy malt base that supports the hop intensity without interference. Crisp and remarkably easy-drinking, it leads with a clean fermentation profile and finishes with a snappy, refreshing bitterness. It is a quintessential go-to pint where the aromatic hop character remains the undisputed star from the first sniff to the dry, lingering finish.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx 6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, white head that shows good persistence and leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent notes of grapefruit and orange peel from Centennial and Amarillo, backed by a resinous, piney character from Simcoe and Columbus. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral backdrop. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impact of citrus zest and earthy pine. Malt flavor is low and grainy with a faint toasted quality, allowing the hops to dominate. Bitterness is medium-high and firm but not harsh. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering, hoppy, and pleasantly bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the refreshing quality. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and the finish is free of astringency.
