This decadent Imperial Stout delivers a massive sensory experience, blending high-gravity depth with complex layers of dessert-like indulgence. The initial aroma is a heady mix of bourbon-soaked oak, dark chocolate, and salted caramel, underscored by the gentle floral sweetness of honey. On the palate, a velvety sweetness from the milk sugar carries flavors of rich fudge and vanilla, while a subtle, building warmth from the chili peppers provides a sophisticated counterpoint to the smoke-tinged roast. It is a full-bodied masterpiece where the intense 12.6% ABV is elegantly integrated into a lingering, luxurious finish of wood, salt, and spice.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+) with a dense, mocha-colored head that exhibits moderate retention. High viscosity is evident through thick legs that form on the sides of the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex blend of bittersweet chocolate, espresso roast, and rich bourbon notes. Prominent scents of vanilla, toasted oak, and salted caramel are layered with floral honey and a light, smoky chili pepper character. Low dark fruit esters of prune and raisin are present.

Taste. Rich and delectably sweet with an initial impression of milk chocolate and honey. The mid-palate reveals bourbon-derived wood and vanilla, alongside savory salted caramel. Roasted malt provides a sturdy backbone of char and cocoa, balanced by a gentle chili heat rather than aggressive hop bitterness. The finish is long, sweet, and complex with a lingering smoky warmth.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and exceptionally viscous with a chewy, velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A smooth, significant alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, avoiding any harshness.
