Double Digits is an exuberant Double IPA that delivers a vibrant fruit punch sensory experience. The prominent use of Citra and Strata hops drives an intense profile of mango, passionfruit, and bright lime zest, complemented by a subtle strawberry and light herbal undertone. It pours with a radiant golden hue and a persistent white head. The clean, neutral malt backbone supports the massive hop presence without introducing heavy sweetness, allowing the tropical fruit notes to lead into a firm, crisp bitterness. A refined, smooth finish makes this collaboration remarkably drinkable while maintaining a bold, celebratory hop intensity.
Appearance. Gold to light orange (6-8 SRM) with good clarity, though a very slight hop haze is acceptable. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, white to off-white head with good lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, mango, and passionfruit derived from Citra and Strata. A supportive, clean, grainy maltiness resides in the background. Fermentation is neutral, allowing the tropical fruit and slight resinous hop character to dominate.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of lime, tropical fruit, and berries. Low to medium supportive, clean malt character with no significant caramel. Moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and lacks harshness. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste and clean fermentation profile.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture and medium-high carbonation. No harsh hop-derived astringency is present. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is noticeable but well-integrated.
