A decadent collaboration celebrating ten years, Decades is a masterclass in the English Barley Wine style. Ten specialty malts, including heritage Chevallier and Hana varieties, are transformed by an intensive ten-hour boil into a liquid tapestry of deep toffee, toasted biscuit, and complex caramel. The extended caramelization provides a luscious, chewy depth that underpins subtle berry notes derived from ten deliberate hop additions. Expect a sophisticated interplay of rich malt sweetness and rounded, warming alcohol. This is a contemplative sipper where the intricate grain bill takes center stage, balanced by a delicate earthy bitterness that lingers through a smooth, vinous finish.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark copper with ruby highlights; clear brilliance with visible viscosity creating legs on the glass. Thin, creamy off-white head with modest retention.

Aroma. High intensity of rich, bready, and toasty malts. Deep toffee and caramel notes dominate, complemented by dried fruit esters of raisin and plum. Hops contribute a subtle earthy and distinct berry-like character with a soft, rounded alcohol warmth.

I nostri dieci malti presentano una serie di orzi speciali, tra cui le varietà storiche Chevallier e Hana. Abbiamo bollito per dieci ore per creare una ricca profondità di sapore e corpo, prima di bilanciare con l'amaro delicato e gli aromi di bacche di dieci aggiunte di luppolo."
