Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (6–10 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that exhibits excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by citrus zest, grapefruit, and fresh pine resin. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a neutral background. Fermentation profile is clean with negligible yeast-derived esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and bitter. Prominent flavors of orange peel, pine sap, and light floral notes from the Amarillo and Simcoe hops. Low toasted malt character supports the high hop bitterness without adding significant sweetness. Finishes very dry and clean with a long-lasting, resinous hoppy aftertaste.
