Odd Feather is a vibrantly expressive Hazy IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop blend. The double dry-hopped addition of Galaxy drives intense tropical aromas of ripe pineapple, while Centennial provides a classic citrus backbone of grapefruit and smooth orange cream. Azacca further layers the sensory profile with notes of mango and stone fruit. Poured with a characteristic hazy shine, the experience is anchored by a soft, pillowy malt base that emphasizes a smooth mouthfeel over sharp bitterness. This balance highlights the interplay between the fruity esters and the lush, hop-forward character, culminating in a refreshing, juicy finish typical of the Pacific Northwest.
Appearance. Straw to light orange with a deep, opaque haze and a healthy shine. Topped by a dense, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tropical pineapple and mango, paired with bright grapefruit and sweet orange zest. Low bready, grainy malt notes in the background with clean, fruity fermentation esters.
Taste. Dominant flavors of tropical fruit and citrus cream. The malt provides a low, grainy sweetness that supports the massive hop presence. Bitterness is low-moderate and exceptionally smooth, leading to an off-dry, juicy finish without any harsh or grassy character.
