SinghBru Zhringer is a distinctively copper-hued Mrzen that offers a unique sensory evolution. The three-malt base creates a rich, roasty foundation, evoking the nostalgic aroma of roasted almonds and toasted bread crust. This malty core is elevated by the inclusion of Tettnanger hops, which impart a refreshing, slightly grassy nuance that cuts through the initial sweetness. Despite its naturally cloudy appearance, the palate remains elegant and clean, characteristic of a well-crafted German lager. The finish is remarkably balanced, leaving a lingering impression of soft malt richness and a subtle, herbal hop bitterness that invites another sip.
Appearance.Deep copper-red with a distinct natural cloudiness (naturtrb). Topped with a persistent, off-white, creamy head that leaves fine lacing. SRM 12–16.
Aroma.Moderate to high intensity. Prominent toasted bread and roasted almond notes from the triple malt blend. Very low clean lager fermentation profile. A subtle but noticeable grassy and slightly spicy hop aroma from the Tettnanger hops provides a fresh counterpoint to the rich maltiness.
Taste. The initial impression is one of rich, bready malt sweetness, quickly followed by complex layers of toasted grains and a hint of caramelized nuts. Low to moderate bitterness provides balance. Tettnanger hops contribute a light, herbal, and grassy flavor. The finish is moderately dry with an elegant, lingering malty aftertaste that avoids being cloying.
Mouthfeel.Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle sparkle. Despite the 5.4% ABV, there is a very soft, well-integrated warmth. The naturally cloudy character adds a slight perceived fullness compared to filtered versions.
