This modern interpretation of the Diesel tradition reimagines the classic beer-and-cola blend using a robust Dunkelweizen base. The sensory profile is headlined by the distinctive Pesti Cola integration, weaving together aromatic cinnamon and a sharp ginger zest against a backdrop of bready, toasted wheat malts. Traditional weizen yeast contributes layers of clove and banana, which are further brightened by a targeted addition of tart cherry. Despite its 6.4% ABV and complex adjunct profile, the beer maintains its heritage with high, effervescent carbonation and a fluffy mouthfeel, balancing the sweetness of the cola with a lingering, spicy-dry finish.
Appearance. Deep copper to dark mahogany (SRM 16–22); thick, long-lasting off-white to light tan moussy head; hazy with a visible yeast and wheat proteins cloudiness.
