This non-alcoholic take on the American IPA delivers a sensory experience reminiscent of a high-altitude hike. It opens with an intense hop-forward bouquet, featuring the signature Sierra Nevada profile of bright citrus zest and resinous pine needles. Despite the minimal alcohol, a smooth, pale malt backbone provides a supportive foundation for the aggressive hop character. The beer finishes crisp and remarkably dry, echoing the refreshing nature of a mountain trail. It captures the essential spirit of a West Coast IPA, prioritizing a hop-centric profile that emphasizes grapefruit rind and forest floor notes while maintaining a light, approachable structure.

Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 7 SRM). Features a persistent, white, frothy head with excellent lacing. The body is clear to brilliant.

Aroma. Moderate-high intensity. Prominent hop character showcasing bright grapefruit, orange zest, and deep resinous pine. Low, clean, bready maltiness provides a subtle background. Fermentation is very clean with no alcohol or significant esters.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impact of citrus peel and pine resin. Low, grainy malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a firm, medium-high bitterness. Clean, dry finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Balance is decidedly hop-forward, consistent with the style's assertive profile.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, feeling slightly thinner than a full-strength counterpart due to the low alcohol. Moderate-high carbonation provides a crisp, scrubbing effect. Smooth texture without astringency. No alcohol warmth.
