This luxurious Imperial Stout offers an opulent sensory experience inspired by the traditional rice milk beverage. A foundation of Side Project’s Vibes provides deep layers of dark chocolate and espresso, which are elevated by the lush, creamy sweetness of Madagascar Vanilla and the floral, earthy depth of Ugandan Vanilla. Fresh Ground Cinnamon weaves through the profile, providing a warm, spicy counterpoint to the decadent malt backbone. At 13% ABV, the beer presents a viscous, velvety texture that carries notes of toasted grain and cocoa into a long, warming finish, successfully melding intense spice with a massive, complex stout character.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+). Pours with a thick, dense, deep tan head with moderate retention. High viscosity is evident, with visible legs coating the glass upon swirling.

Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by a rich, dessert-like bouquet of sweet Madagascar Vanilla and woody Ugandan Vanilla. Beneath the spice, a complex malt profile offers scents of dark chocolate, cocoa, and light roast. The Fresh Ground Cinnamon provides a distinct, spicy warmth. Very low earthy hops. Esters are subtle, reminiscent of dried figs. Alcohol is present but smooth.

Taste. Initial impression is sweet and decadent. Strong flavors of chocolate fudge and roasted malt are seamlessly integrated with the creamy vanilla and piquant cinnamon. The Madagascar and Ugandan Vanilla beans provide a multi-dimensional sweetness. Bitterness is moderate to low for the style, allowing the horchata character to lead. The finish is lingering and sweet with a soft cinnamon spice and significant alcohol warmth. No harshness or acridity.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a thick, chewy, and velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. Noticeable and smooth alcohol warmth reflects the high gravity. Exceptionally creamy and luscious, with no astringency.
