This Imperial Stout represents a pinnacle of barrel integration, blending four distinct base recipes including O.W.K. and Vibes. Extended aging for up to 42 months in prestigious Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, and Willett Bourbon barrels imparts profound layers of vanillin and toasted coconut. Despite the absence of adjuncts, the malt complexity evokes deep dark chocolate and baker's cocoa. The 15% ABV is masterfully integrated, providing a smooth bourbon warmth rather than sharp heat. Each sip of this viscous liquid reveals nuances of Four Roses and Weller 12-year oak, resulting in a harmonious, decant-worthy profile defined by pure malt and spirit-soaked wood character.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). Pours with a thick, deep tan head that settles quickly into a fine ring, leaving heavy, viscous legs on the glass as a testament to its high gravity.

Aroma. Intense and multi-layered. Dominant aromas of rich dark chocolate and espresso give way to secondary notes of toasted coconut, caramel, and vanilla-heavy bourbon. Prominent oak character with hints of black cherry and plum esters. Hop aroma is very low to absent.

Taste. Massive initial impact of bittersweet chocolate, charred oak, and rich bourbon. The malt profile is deeply roasty without being acrid, showing notes of molasses and fudge. Significant bourbon flavor from the spirit-soaked barrels provides a sweet complexity. Bitterness is firm and moderate but serves primarily to balance the substantial residual sweetness. The finish is long and warming with lingering notes of vanilla and dark dried fruit.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and chewy with a thick, velvety, viscous texture. Carbonation is low, enhancing the creamy palate. Significant but smooth alcohol warmth is present and noticeable without being harsh or solventy.
