Anabasis (Blend #6) is a monumental English Barleywine that bridges traditions with intense barrel complexity. Utilizing rich English malts and a fruity English yeast strain, it presents a decadent foundation of toffee, dried figs, and dark cherry. The aggressive addition of American hops provides a structural bitterness that cuts through the massive 14% ABV. Extended aging in Blanton's and Willett Family Estate Rye barrels imparts sophisticated layers of charred oak, spicy rye grain, vanilla, and hints of toasted coconut. This blend is viscous and warming, offering a masterclass in integration where hop resin meets oxidative, vinous depth and bourbon-soaked luxury.
